Modest Mouse - “Bankrupt on Selling”...
WatchWe saw Milk tonight : a very good, remarkably straightforward movie from Gus Van Sant. The only performance that I didn’t love was Diego Luna (though maybe that was intentional). But the (other) obvious downer was watching a movie that culminates with the defeat of Prop 6 thirty years ago a few weeks after Prop 8 passed.

Thanksgiving greetings from Wilhelm. Since Joe’s Frankenbaconbird got named according to Jenn’s tradition; so did my first ever Tofurkey. The major disappointment was finding that the magickal vegan wishstix weren’t in the package. Someone at the factory must have stolen them!

it’s that time again. (TOO SOON). Just for the heck of it how about I say that my early picks for my favorite albums of 2008 are Girl Talk, Sigur Ros, and Bon Iver.
WatchWhy haven’t I seen Slumdog Millionaire yet? Sigur Ros on trailer’s soundtrack (OK, the Ting Tings, too) and being directed by Danny Boyle are enough to convince me that I already love it. Oh, and convergences: it stars the kid who plays Anwar on Skins. [apple]
