Let’s have a little thought experiment and try to decide whether this would be weirder if (1) it was an elaborate hoax generated Fake Steve Jobs style from someone outside the operation, (2) was “ghostwritten” by an official staffer, or (3) is actually coming directly from the Senator’s BlackBerry.
