Islands - “Switched On” (from Vapors [$])

I haven’t yet fallen head over heels for the latest less haunted album from Islands in its entirety, but I have found myself listening to the opening track with some regularity bordering on the obsessive. I’m not entirely sure what I like so much about it beyond the infectious electro backing and the gooey repetition.
